GSEB SSC Result 2024: 82.56% Pass, Girls Shine in Gujarat Board Class 10 Exams May, 2 2025

Gujarat Board Class 10 Results See Big Jump, Girls Lead the Pack

The GSEB SSC Result 2024 arrived early this year, keeping students and parents glued to their screens from dawn. On May 11, as the sun came up in Gujarat, over 7.3 lakh anxious teens learned the outcome of months of hard work. The excitement was palpable—the pass percentage hit a solid 82.56%, a marked jump over last year's 64.62% and 65.18% in 2022.

This boost isn’t a fluke. Across the state, even students who struggled last year found themselves celebrating. Teachers say it comes down to better planning, earlier exam dates, and targeted help for struggling students. The change was noticeable, with the entire process—from exams running March 11 to March 22, to the result declaration—wrapping up faster than before.

One number stood out like a badge of honor: girls left the boys behind once again. This year, girls had a pass rate among the highest in several years, showing steady improvement, while the boys' numbers lagged behind. In fact, last year's stats showed girls at 70.62% and boys at 59.58%, and this year's trend continued in the same direction.

How Results Came In, and What the Numbers Reveal

Checking the Gujarat Board Class 10 result has never been easier. Students just typed their seat number on the official gseb.org site or shot a WhatsApp message to a dedicated number—no standing in lines, no crowded notice boards. With digital convenience, students downloaded their provisional mark sheets while schools get ready to hand out originals in the coming days.

Surat, always a top performer, had the highest turnout again with 1.91 lakh candidates. It’s basically a city-wide academic festival every year, but with more data-driven nerves. Despite the celebration, the results pointed out a few sobering trends. The board noticed a rise in schools with less than 30% passing, edging up from 1,007 in 2022 to 1,084 in 2023. On the flip side, fewer schools boasted a perfect 100% result—down to 272 from 292. This gap hints that while state averages are up, some pockets could use more support.

If you’re looking for a pattern, you won’t have to search long. In previous years, results were declared after weeks of waiting—May 25 in 2023 and even June 6 the year before. But this time, the process zipped along, with results ready just weeks after exams ended. Board officials wanted quicker results to ease student stress and help families plan for the next steps.

The new trend: convenience, speed, and continuing focus on girls’ achievements. With each year, Gujarat’s Class 10 results are turning into a tech-driven affair, showing how even school exams can keep up with the times—and set new standards for what comes next.
