Telangana SSC 2025 Results: Girls Outshine Boys and Mahbubabad Steals the Show

Exams may be nerve-wracking, but results day always manages to ramp up the excitement. The Telangana Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has declared its much-anticipated TS SSC 2025 Class 10 results, and the scores are sending a clear message: girls are on a roll.

This year’s stats show a robust overall pass rate of 92.78% among regular candidates. But the real headline? Girls achieved a 94.26% pass rate compared to boys’ 91.32%. That means girls outperformed boys by 2.94%. The pattern wasn’t just a fluke this year, and it adds to growing conversations about gender trends in academic achievement across India. In Telangana, at least, the girls came out firmly ahead.

Exams were held from March 21 to April 3, with a whopping 496,374 regular students and 10,733 private candidates showing up at their centers. For regular candidates, the results spark plenty of reasons to celebrate. But private candidates felt a bit of a sting—only 57.22% managed to pass. Even here, though, girls had the higher rate at 61.70%, with boys at just 55.14%. Clearly, the drive among female students is more than just a trend.

Districts, Schools, and a Standout Topper

Districts, Schools, and a Standout Topper

If you zoom in on Telangana’s districts, Mahbubabad emerges as the real star. The district boasted an enviable 99.29% pass rate, giving parents, students, and teachers plenty to cheer about. On the other side of the map, Vikarabad found itself with the lowest pass percentage at 73.97%—a pretty stark difference that might have education officials scratching their heads.

School performances were all over the spectrum. Out of thousands of institutions, 4,629 schools delivered a 100% pass rate for regular students. That’s quite the flex for these schools, suggesting not only strong teaching but also motivated students. Yet, at the other end of the line, two schools recorded a gloomy zero percent pass rate. The gap is hard to ignore and could be a talking point for educational reforms in the state.

But the individual spotlight falls squarely on Nimma Anchitha, who topped the state by scoring a remarkable 596 marks. That’s no small feat considering the fierce competition and sheer number of students. With her score, Anchitha’s name is now the one everyone’s talking about—from TV news to neighborhood WhatsApp groups.

The Telangana BSE made sure nobody had to stand in long queues or get anxious over school noticeboards. Students simply had to check the official portals—bse.telangana.gov.in or bseresults.telangana.gov.in—for instant access to their scores. For tech-savvy families, it was as easy as a click.

With the Telangana SSC 2025 results out, stories are already doing the rounds about extraordinary efforts (and disappointments). In living rooms across the state, celebrations for one student might be unfolding while another is being gently consoled. The numbers paint a big picture of hard work, challenges, and a few districts and students who managed to raise the bar just a notch higher this year.
